Some people think that modern technology is crucial to humans’ development and brings great convenience while some individuals believe that life will be more enjoyable without complex technology. High school life is probably the happiest time of our lives. Many consider their college lives to be the best, but to me high school is better, because it has more fun and less workload. We are young adults now. Our bodies are going through a series of changes. Boys are transforming into young men, while girls are blooming into beautiful young women. Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the northern part of Luzon. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage. To show and share their treasures to the whole world, the locals conceived a festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they called it the "Kannadiwan Festival". It is a celebration that lasts from the last week of January up to the first week of February. Included in the course of events is the commemoration of the foundation day of the province.   For me, the Kannawidan gives fun to the whole province of Ilocos Sur. Because there are lots of activities and competitions that are held during this festival. I believe that if you want something to change for the better, you should start it within yourself. If you want to change reality start with yourself first and attend to your own personal development. In doing so, problems give way to solutions and no longer affect you. M ost people are frustrated or angry with circumstances beyond their control. They believe if they can control these situations they will be happy. S ometimes it is not possible since there are too many things to control. It requires redesigning your life to suit you, or playing God, neither of which are possible. It  is simpler to attend to your own personal development. I believe that change is the only constant thing in life. No matter how hard you try to stay whatever or whoever you are, there will always be a time wherein something will change and you can't do anything about it. Why? Because that change is meant to happen. And as they say, "Change is inevitable." This 2019, I want to change something in my life. This is to change myself into s omething stronger and braver.  So that I will be able to endure every hard situations that may hinder me in achieving success. And also to be braver enough to face the challenges that may come. This is because in the year 2018, I have encountered different situations wherein I almost give up to the point that I think about committing suicide. It is because I am too weak and fragile inside. I will change myself into something better.

Every December we are always celebrating the Christmas Day. Because we believe that December 25 was the day when Jesus our Savior was born. Christmas day should be celebrated to address our thanks and love to Jesus who saves our life. This is also the time to express our love to everyone all over the world. In any direction you can see stars that are hanged, Christmas lights, Christmas trees, and other things that symbolizes Christmas. At the month of September we can already feel the spirit of Christmas and that's why everyone gets very excited in celebrating. I believe that Christmas is the time to forgive those who commits a sin to us. We should also express our love to everyone and show them the kindness from our hearts. Let's give love on Christmas day. 

God created human beings equally. Men and women are on the same level and no one is higher. but as days passed by, inequality starts to grow. Until one day, women loses their  rights and men started thinking that they should be the one to rule every women. men started thinking that they are better, stronger and more special than women. So now, equal rights should be implemented for the sake of everyone. As we all know, there are a lot of women who are being abused by men. Sexual abuse, physical abuse, economic abuse, and many more are some of the abuses that makes women suffer. And that should not be. In the eyes of God, we are all the same. So women should be treated well and they should be loved and cared by men. All in all, we should think that we are all creations of God so you better fight for your right. Stand up, speak up, and fight for your right.

Being an engineer, teacher, architect, or any other profession is a tough job. But for me, being a parent is the toughest among all jobs. This is because there are steps that needs to be followed in order to be recognized as "parent". Marriage is something but having a child is a new big challenge. We can say that technology is really a big help in everyone's lives but on the other hand, there are also negative effects. Just like the gadgets, it is true that it brings happiness and joy to the users but it also makes them irresponsible and sometimes it leads the users to the wrong path. Celebrating the United Nation Month can be done by getting to know about the organization and the differences it makes in your life. Some of the basic rights and privileges enjoyed by the people around the world are a result of the work done by the UN. The 2018 United Nation's theme is "Coming together with those farthest behind to build an inclusive world of universal respect for human rights and dignity" wants to express that the ones who are left behind  should be given a support in order for them to have a prosperous life like the others. The Science Month is celebrated to commemorate the great things brought to us by Science and Technology.  According to research, the theme aims to focus or give importance to Michael Faraday's discovery of electricity and magnetism. We all know that nowadays, science and technology have scattered everywhere. Anywhere you go there will always be a machine or a thing that is a product of science and technology. There are a lot of great things produced because of the modern technology. I can say that technology is a big help to humans. It makes our works easier and our life more comfortable. So it is really good to celebrate in order to recognize the great impact of the modern technology. 

As we all know the Philippines is located at the Pacific Ring of Fire and near the West Basin. This is the reason why there are lots of calamities that the Filipino people are experiencing. President Rodrigo Duterte was set to deliver his State of the Nation Address on July 23, 2018 at the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines.
