Filipino's Resiliency

As we all know the Philippines is located at the Pacific Ring of Fire and near the West Basin. This is the reason why there are lots of calamities that the Filipino people are experiencing. Typhoons, floods, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and tsunamis are the most dangerous calamities that are occurring in the Philippines. But despite of these calamities Filipinos still manage to smile, a sweet and genuine smile.

In the year 2013, at the month of November, super typhoon Yolanda strikes the City of Tacloban. Many properties were destroyed and many lives were lost. Typhoon Yolanda became a nightmare to the people but the survivors became stronger after this calamity. They still manage to be happy despite of the damages that Yolanda brought to them. Even though darkness is taking over they still find a little ray of sunshine to lighten the sorrounding. And little by little they are now slowly recovering. Just like the post that i've seen on facebook, "Baha ka lang, Pinoy kami!". I can say that Filipinos have a strong faith in God because whatever problems and trials that they encounter, they can always flash their sweetest smile to hide their misery.

To sum up everything, without the gift of resilience we cannot stand. This is a special gift granted to the Filipino people by God.
